The use of the Internet in the international business-to-business market entails extensive changes in ways of working compared to conventional business. Therefore, research was conducted into what opportunities the Internet has to offer Philips PMF International and what organizational consequences this would entail. Via telephone interviews clients were asked for their opinions and via a written questionnaire employees were asked what possibilities they saw for an intranet. Based on the results of the report an intranet as well as the Internet were put into use by Philips PMF International.
